Freeriders should first make for the Lincoln Peak where you will be able to sample some major runs via the Castlerock chair. This area is mainly for riders who know the score, if you are easily frightened, forget it. However, if you are up to it then you won’t be disappointed. You can now buy a Mt. Ellen-only season’s pass for 2004/2005. The pass is designed for people who want access to big-mountain skiing and riding at a cheaper price and will give holders access to over 2,600 vertical feet of terrain, 42 trails, 6 lifts, and new gladed trails.
Freestylers have a new Progression Park on Mount Ellen for beginners. The pro park has moved to the Sunny D area and has it's own lift and a reasonable pipe. Around the resort there is also an abundance of natural hits for catching air off.
