A freeriders dream - Epic mountain for good riders

Freeriders should take the Mineral Basin lift off the backside of Hidden Peak which accesses some of the most epic snow and terrain imaginable. It is easy to spend an entire day there after a good storm and never get bored. On the other hand, once you take the tram to the top of Hidden Mountain, you can’t really go wrong no matter what face you drop in off. There are plenty of cool runs like Silver Fox, Great Scott, and Upper Cirque, and Gad Valley. It is also not a bad idea to save some quality time for Thunder Bowl, accessible by the Gad 2 lift.
Beginners will quickly find that Snowbird is really an intermediate to expert mountain and might get bored on the limited availability of easy runs. However, the easy area known as the Baby Thunder, is good.
