Snow Basin Resort / Snowbasin: A Sun Valley Resort.
Freeriders will like this mountain more than anyone else. In general the mountain is not extensive and a weeks stay would be overdoing it. However, there is a good selection of black marked slopes to keep most riders interested for a day or two. Head over to the Strawberry Express gondola for awesome wide powder fields and access to backcountry gates or check out the other side of the resort and test your freeriding skills in the No Name/Allen's Peak area.
Freestylers will find 2 terrain parks and a Superpipe! The Krazy Kat Park is more a beginner park with several rails, boxes and a few hits, while the Apex Park is where the main action is, with every sort of rail imaginable and a couple of table tops.
Most of the mountain is intermediate groomers with some nice long trails. Piste huggers who like to crank their turns out have some nice options like the men's and women's downhill courses when races are not going on.
Beginners have a good resort for learning the basics and although there are not loads of green easy trails, what is on offer is okay, especially the beginner terrain off of Becker Chair.
