Freeriders are assured plenty of powder days and an enormously varied selection of terrain from the super steep chutes on the west side of the front half of the mountain, to an amazingly long (and tiring) blue run that starts from one of several high speed, no-queue lifts about 100 feet from the day-lodge. The ridge that links the runs together along the top of the mountain also provides a breathtaking view of Lake Pend O’Reille.
Freestyle
Freestylers have a magical mountain do to their tricks on. A favourite with local students, this overlooked mountain has not 1 but 2 terrain parks. There’s the Freestyle Garden that is perfect for novices with assorted rails and jumps. If you want something more substantial check out the Stomping Grounds Park which features a rail garden, booters and competitions that are held throughout the winter.
Pistes
Pistes. There’s plenty of groomed stuff on offer and speed perverts can make good on runs such as Cathedral and Zip
Beginners
Beginners have no need to worry here as all the novice runs are well away from the main runs so helping to prevent mass collisions, and serviced by a separate chair lift
