Park City, which played host to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, is by far the most famous resort in Utah and also one of the most expensive. However, don’t let the fact that this is a costly place with a bit of an attitude put you off. In terms of what there is to ride and the way the place is laid out, Park City is cool. With some 100 named trails and over 3300 acres of linked terrain, no-one is going to feel left out here.
For the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Park City was home to skiing’s giant slalom and as well as the snowboard races and when you see this place, it’s easy to see why. This is a place that knows how to put on a show, (even if the snow can often be a bit dodgy).
