Freeriders, welcome to sex on snow! Copper has it all for you. Powder, deep bowls and trees all on offer from expert double blacks to tame piste trails. Take the Flyer chair to reach the Flyer area where you will find a series of blue runs that cut through trees. Alternatively ride the Sierra lift to get a powder fix. More advanced riders should take Lift E to take on a cluster of short blacks. These are perfect for freeriders, especially the Union Bowl. If you keep right off the E-lift, you hit some decent trees. Intermediate freeriders will find plenty to interest them on the run known as Andy's Encore, reached off the B-1 chair. Freestylers have a great mountain to explore with great natural terrain and numerous man made hits in the shape of two halfpipes and a cool terrain park. The Tsunami halfpipe is a massive pipe that?s is regularly used for competitions. To get to it, simply take the the American Flyer lift via the Carefree trail. Coppers terrain park is noted for having a great series of hits furthermore all the hits are colour-graded for different rider standards, just like the runs. Natural terrain seekers should find Union and Spaulding Bowls the areas to check out for wind-lips, rock jumps and hits galore. Copper has a programme called the ?Team?. Piste riders will find that this is definitely a place for them, with plenty of advanced and intermediate wide open trails to choose from. Trails are groomed to perfection and runs like Bittersweet are a speed demons dream.

Beginners who come here won?t be disappointed. Copper has more than sufficient areas for learning the basics and progressing onwards. There are plenty of easy green trails. The tree-lined runs of the American Flyer Quad are a real joy. The flats of K and L lifts are also perfect for first timers.
