Freeriders will want to head straight for the Millicent lift. The Wolverine Cirque backcountry is out of this world. This area may require a hike out, but it is well worth the effort. Scree-Slope rocks too. It accesses a sweet cliff/shoot area, which goes all the way over to Camera Land and Mary Chutes backcountry. An easy hike to the top of Preston Peak from the Snake Creek Express leads to some super tree runs in Snake Bowl.Hidden Country backcountry also has a limitless possibility of tree runs and powder shoots after a good storm, but it tends to get tracked out pretty fast.
Freestyle
Freestylers will be disappointed with the pipe but the park is very well maintained. It has a bunch of decent table tops and spine jumps and is not usually crowded during the week.
Pistes
The pistes of Brighton don’t have a lot to offer. There are only a few fast groomers off of Millicent and Evergreen. The rest of the mountain just does not maintain enough vertical
Beginners
Beginners would really enjoy learning on this mountain. A large portion of the terrain is not too steep or technical. The Explorer lift is a great place to start and there are numerous runs off of the Majestic lift that beginners would be comfortable with. Sunshine off the Snake Creek Express is a long run, but mellow.
