Freeriding
The resort can basically be divided into two bowls, one on the North side and the other on the South side. Most of the resort has wide open terrain with some areas of wicked gladed runs. The lower half of the resort is fairly mellow, however Bridger's redeeming feature is the area known as "The Ridge". This is the area at the very top of the resort which is composed of the steepest runs on the mountain and where everyone heads to on powder days. To get there it's a 400ft vertical hike up from the top of the highest lift. The hike is worth it as the area has many steep chutes and the best snow conditions at Bridger. You must carry an avalanche beacon, shovel and probe to access this area.
Freestyle
Bridger Bowl is definitely a freeriders resort but they have relented and built a small terrain park. Its located between Bridger and Deer Park lifts above Boot Hill, but even so go freeride!
Pistes
Riders will enjoy Bridger's beautifully groomed runs, however these are usually of low angles so hardcore carvers may become bored.
Beginners
Beginners will love Bridger's terrain. The lower runs are a novice's paradise...nothing too scary. As you progress you can move further and further up the mountain as your ability improves.
