Freeriders are not known for flocking to this place because although there is some okay freeriding terrain, it's not that extensive in terms of steep blacks on or off-piste. That said, the black trail running down from Les Chaux is a real pleaser which if you stick to the left, can also be tackled by intermediates as it mellows out the further it spreads across the slope. The place for some great freeriding is up on the Les Diablerets slopes.
Freestyle
Freestylers can either decide to ride the pipe and park areas that are split between the Bretaye slopes and Les Chaux slopes. However, this is not one of those resorts where one can get too excited about the man made frills, and coupled with the fact that this place is not as snow sure as the slopes up on Les Diablerets, sculptured hits are not always guaranteed.
Pistes
Carvers have the best of the slopes here from the long gentle blues and a couple of steep blacks on the Les Chaux area, to the excellent pisted reds on the Bretaye area.
Beginners
Beginner's slopes are out numbered by intermediate ones, but don't be put off, this is a good first time resort although the place has a lot of drag lifts.
