less well known village but still want good access to the Portes Du Soleil area. Quiet slopes, a few good runs, a peaceful, family vibe but the snowboarding itself doesn't stand out.

Torgon is a small, Swiss resort, tucked away in a corner of the Portes Du Soleil, but still within short distance of Geneva. Whilst Torgon only has 35km of local slopes, it is connected to the huge Portes Du Soleil, with it's closest neighbours being La Chapelle d'Abondance and Chatel. A family oriented resort, quiet, with a beautiful view of Lake Geneva, the plain, and the Alps.
The other resorts either have more central slope access, or quick bus journeys to well connected areas. If you're looking for a less well known village but still want good access to the whole area, there are better options. The best that Torgon can offer is being hidden away from the crowds; quieter slopes, a few good runs, a peaceful, family vibe.
