Freeriders are somewhat spoilt for choice here with some notable freeriding terrain over on the Saanen area where with aid of a guide, you can ride out some great powder fields. Alternatively, for something a little more testing you should head up to the Les Diablerets glacier.
Freestyle
Freestylers have a number of half-pipes to choose from, with the best offering of park and pipe on the Sanserloch area. However, constructed half-pipes are not always necessary here as there is a lot of diverse natural terrain with some notable cliffs and big wind lips. Check out the cliffs up at Huhnerspiel.
Pistes
Carvers who like to lay a board over at speed on super steeps, have few options on where to do it. Much of what is levelled out here can be tackled by a competent intermediate rider. However, don't be put off as overall this is a good carvers area with some nice red trails to blast on the Lauenen slopes.
Beginners
Beginners have the biggest percentage of easy slopes around here much of which is not linked and spread out between the areas with some of the best runs on the Saanenmoser slopes.
