Freeriders have an excellent resort to explore, with great off-piste riding in big powder areas. If your thing is fast steeps and banked walls, Andermatt is a resort that will serve your needs well and will easily keep you interested for a week or so.
Freestyle
Freestylers are provided with a fun park and half-pipe on the Gemsstock area, but they're not particularly hot. However, there is plenty of good natural terrain to get from with big naturally formed banks and some cool drop offs.
Pistes
Carvers who like to perform will be pleased to find that there's plenty of fast sections to really crank some big turns on. The Sonnenpiste is a decent run to try out before hitting some of the blacks on the Gemsstock area.
Beginners
Beginners usually head for the Natschen area, but if you're a slow learner this may not be your resort The slope graduation goes quickly from easy to very hard.
