Freeriders in search of extremes that require helmets should forget it, but for the rest, there's ample to search out. Off-piste opportunities present you with loads of trees, with some nice back bowls and good powder stashes on the Marsella.
Freestyle
Freestylers get treated better here than in many other so called snowboard-friendly resorts. When snow allows, they provide a pipe and plenty of kickers on La Molina, while over on Marsella, there's a complete snowboard area called the Radical Bosc with hits galore, all of which are marked out on a rider's piste map.
Pistes
Carvers get the chance to polish up their skills on well groomed pistes and because this place isn't busy, you can go completely balls out without the worry of running over small children.
Beginners
Beginners in La Molina or Marsella will find that the nursery slopes are wide and spacious. Instruction services are excellent, with foreign speaking instructors available (which helps).
