Busy party resort with a great park

The clubs, or "discotheques" as the locals call them, can be found in the basements of the numerous hotels that dominate the resort's landscape. They all have a dance floor and hundreds of tables. Traditionally in Korea you can't order a drink without a side dish so this means you have to be seated to drink. It's a weird set up but don't stress - snowboarding in Korea is about being seen and where better than on the dance floor. Korean people hit the soju (pumpkin/bamboo wine) early and party till late. Oh, and beware, the dominant tunes in these clubs are bad Korean remakes of bad American pop songs that they'll crank at maximum volume
