As good as it gets in Southern Africa. Only one piste but the resort should be commended in its commitment to building a terrain park.

Afriski is a fairly small resort in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho, with excellent snowmaking facilities and a 3000m altitude it manages to hold onto snow coverage through at least three months of the winter.
With a single piste, and T Bar drag lift, terrain is not that varied or difficult for piste only snowboarders, however Afriski boasts the only season long terrain park in Southern Africa, with the park producing riders who are competing (and winning) on an international stage at FIS & TTR slopestyle events in Europe. This season boasting an incredible 50ft Kicker which the locals are throwing 7's & BS5's off with abandon.
Afriski is the home to SA's two championships, The Kings Cup and QuikSnow (SA Champs) and the weekends of these events is when Afriski really makes it's mark.
Equipment can be hires at resort, and a dedicated ski & snowboard store is also at resort to purchase anything from complete set-ups to beanies.
The South Africans Ride Hard and Party harder, with Apre' Shred being the order of the day, the newly refurbished Gondola Cafe is the home to DJ Hans & Franz, bringing Alpine beats with a South African Flavour for the party hard.
