Krasnoye Ozero is located near Korobitsino settlement, which is the St. Petersburg center for ski & snowboard resorts. The village itself is quite dull, but the resorts bring life to it and the natural landscapes are quite nice. During the season the resorts occasionally hold ski or snowboard competitions and throw parties, so if you come at the right time, you'll have lots of fun.

There are two cafes: one for smokers, one for non-smokers, and Evrasiya restaurant serving Japanese and European food.

The cottages for rent are located at the top of the slopes and cost from 2300 ($80) to 3300 ($120) on weekdays, and twice more on weekends. The prices are for the whole cottage and can accommodate up to 6 people, so if you find company, it can be as low as $15 per day per person on weekdays. Besides, the cottages have kitchens with fridge, microwave oven, and utensils, so if you stock some food you can stay real cheap there. Contact the resort to make your bookings.
