Moroznaya

Make sure you have your trip arranged before you go there. Kamchatka used to be a territory "closed" for foreigners for decades, and even though now you don't need a special permission to get there, it's still hard to get around on one's own (unless you have basic Russian skills). It's recommended to get in touch with some local riders or arrange a travel through an agency (will be expensive, though).

Moroznaya is in 37 km from the nearest city - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. There are several hotels in the city. The most popular is a very basic hotel Golubaya Laguna, they have small aqua park and natural hot springs in it. A double room is $50. Address: Prospect Pobedy, 27, tel.: +7 4152 53324. Very basic and not worth it. It's better to meet local riders and to hang out with them, rather than going out in the clubs.
