2004/5: Norway’s coolest half pipe – the Super Pipe at Fugleleiken With a height of 5.70 metres and length of 150 metres, the new half pipe on Geilo’s sunny side looks huge and formidable. It is Northern Europe’s largest half pipe, but it is also suitable for beginners. More than NOK 1.2 million has been invested in special maintenance equipment for the snowboard parks, for the benefit of our snowboard guests.

• Bus: Bus transfer from Oslo airport every Friday and Sunday, visit www.fjord1.no
• Train: Train services are possible direct to Geilo from Oslo and take around 3 1/2 hours. Bergen is 3hrs by train.
• Driving: Via Oslo , head north on highway 7 via Honefos, Gol and Hol to reach Geilo. The distance is aound 150 miles (240 km) and will take 2 hours .
• Flying: Fly to Oslo airport, which is 4 hours away.
