YETI Freeride Junior World Championships by Dynastar confirmed for wednesday, january 24
The freeride world will once again peek into the future of the sport at the YETI Freeride Junior World Championships by Dynastar in Kappl, Austria.
Competition has been confirmed for wednesday, january 24, with recent storms blanketing the venue and good conditions predicted for the contest, providing all the ingredients for an epic day.
This is the seventh time that Kappl has hosted the FJWC, proof not only of the quality of the freeriding here, but also of the consistency of the snow. Competition will go down on the Hausberg, a true big mountain venue showcasing a variety of terrain – from steep, alpine faces and flowy sections to massive cliffs – offering the complete package for freeriders and freestylers alike.
The FJWC represents the perfect stage for prospective FWT athletes to stand up and emerge from the large crowd of talented riders. This has been proven repeatedly, with an extensive list of distinguished FJWC champions that are – or have been – on the main Tour, including:
Marcus Goguen (2023)
