Travis Rice wins the Red Bull Supernatural
I guess it was kind of inevitable that the guy who conceived the whole thing would win it, and Travis Rice did just that. Take X Games and move it to a real mountain is how 3rd place rider Nicolas Müller explained it. Austrian supernatural Gigi Rüf finished in 2nd place
Snowboarding legend Travis Rice is looking for the best all-round snowboarding talent in the world at Red Bull Supernatural hits British Columbia, Canada. 32,000-acre snowboarding paradise around Baldface Lodge in the Kootenay Mountains of BC provides the setting for Travis Rice’s latest adventure: Red Bull Supernatural.
No practice runs, no live TV slot, the 18 invited riders had a window of a week holed up in the Baldface Lodge while they waited for perfect conditions. The riders would make the decision when to drop and in what order, and on day 3 the call was made.
The Supernatural is on!
