IT’S TIME TO DROP IN – THE SWATCH FREERIDE WORLD TOUR VALLNORD-ARCALÍS, ANDORRA IS CONFIRMED FOR TOMORROW, FEBRUARY 9, 2017
Fifty-three of the world’s best freeriders will showdown on the technical terrain of the Vallnord-Arcalís resort tomorrow at 11am Central European Time. The roster of twenty-five ski men, eleven ski women, nine snowboard men, and eight snowboard women includes Taisuke Kusunoki (JPN), the winner of last month’s FWQ Freeride Hakuba, for the highly-anticipated Andorran stop of the Swatch Freeride World Tour.
The competition face will be confirmed tomorrow morning at 9am Central European Time once FWT guides and event organizers make a final evaluation of the snow conditions on the potential venues.
The 2017 season has been generous to the Pyrenees; recent weather systems have dumped ample snow on the peaks, offering ideal freeride conditions for the upcoming contest.
