Inghams Ski Commits to New Norway Charter Flight for 2025
Due to high demand from the UK market, Inghams Ski plan to become one of the leading ski companies operating in Norway.
Having launched Norway as a brand-new destination for the current ski season and 2025/26, Inghams Ski have now confirmed a weekly dedicated charter flight route for next season from Gatwick to Bergen, committing to carrying more passengers to Norway’s resorts.
Customers have the choice to be based in Voss, Myrkdalen or, new for 2025/26, Geilo. Norway is where skiing was invented and is renowned for its pristine snow conditions throughout the winter season, offering a rich heritage of winter sports in various forms, from downhill skiing, cross country skiing and off-piste powder.
John Mansell, Managing Director of Inghams Ski comments:
‘Building on the success of Inghams offering walking holidays to Norway for 2025, I’m excited that we have committed to offering our customers the chance to ski too. Having already launched Norway last month for the current ski season and 2025/26, I’m thrilled we have secured this weekly ski charter for next season. With huge demand for Norway coming from the UK, Inghams customers can now be a part of it, experiencing the wonders that Norway has to offer.’
Trevor De Villiers, CEO of Norway Home of Skiing comments:
‘Following the enormous success we are enjoying from the UK, I am delighted to announce that Inghams Ski and NHOS have concluded negotiations and Inghams Ski will offer a weekly charter on Sundays from London Gatwick to Bergen for Winter 2025/26, with the first flight landing on 21st December 2025. This will bring guaranteed charter passengers each week into the resorts of Voss, Mykdalen and Geilo, who will share the charter aircraft. I believe this is the first time that we have a dedicated ski charter to Bergen Flesland, so this is a historic moment for ski tourism into Norway.
Norway has so much to offer customers as an overall winter experience destination, as well as value for money and guaranteed snow. The Inghams charter is simply brilliant news for all of us in Norwegian ski business and we look forward to a long and commercially rewarding future together.’
