Fancy riding an open top cable car, you can now!
This summer saw the launch of the worlds first open top cable car. Be sure to take an extra pair on snowboard trousers as it's definitely not one for the faint hearted!
This summer has seen many eager and nervous punters turn up and ride the world’s first ever double-decker cable car, a lift that would makes the average theme park ride seem like a walk in the park.
The open top Cabrio cable car opened on the 29th June on the Stanserhorn Switzerland. The cabin consists mostly of glass and therefore allows a vast view into the Alps. The Stanserhorn is located in Central Switzerland overlooking Lake Lucerne.
It will be interesting to see if any brave riders take to the open top in a white out in mid winter, safety regulations permitting of course. Let us know what you think of the lift on our facebook page.
