Chas Guldemond perfect run wins X-Games Slopestyle
Sebastien Toutant seemed to have had the slopestyle in the bag until Chas Guldemond pulled off a bit of X-Games history with an incedible score of 99.33 in his 2nd run to clinch gold.
After a phenomenal first run that was awarded 98 points, everyone thought that Sebastien Toutant (Can) had all but killed the final. This was true until Chas Guldemond's second run, that was declared ‘close to perfection’ by the judges who awarded Chas 99.33 points after painstakingly studying his run. A score that was synonymous of a Gold medal and a first victory for the American.
Chas also created history by earning the highest score of the Winter X Games Europe and one of the highest scores in the Winter X Games history.

Completing the podium behind Sebastien Toutant comes the Breckenridge resident (Colorado) Eric Willet in third place. After winning the final here in Tignes last year, and the US Open just last week, Willet continues his winning streak with the bronze medal today. Also confirming the exceptional amount of progress he has made over the last two years.
