For those people who love to ride and then party late into the night there can be no better combination than combining a snow trip with one of the many snow festivals around. Bearing this in mind we have put together a one stop guide for the best festivals on the snow this winter!
Horizon Festival – Bansko

Europe’s Greatest Ski Party returns to Bansko Ski Resort, Bulgaria on Sat 12th – Thu 17th March 2016, With a growing reputation as one of the best snow festival this year will be no different with over a 120 acts, playing 30 parties over 6 days.
Horizon Festival is the ultimate party in the snow cheap drinks and great local food and combined with the likes of Goldie, Craig Charles, Lady Leshurr, Gentleman’s Dub Club, John Talabot and LevonVincent Âme, Nina Kraviz, Congo Natty and MJ Cole will make for one crazy week.

Snowbombing

Snowbombing is a constant feature on the snowboarding calendar and it always has some of the biggest acts on the snowboard circuit. 2016 is set to be no different featuring massive bands including The Prodigy, Craig David, Mark Ronson and Bastille as headliners, so guests are in for a real treat! Spread across several different venues in the town of Mayrhofen,
Celebrating its seventeenth incredible year, Snowbombing 2016 takes place 4-9 April in the beautiful chocolate-box Tyrolean town of Mayrhofen, Austria.
Nestled in a breath-taking alpine setting with snow-capped vistas to die for, Snowbombing boasts the most awe-inspiring festival venues in the world from a mountaintop igloo 6,000 feet above sea level to enchanted forest clearings, cosy alpine lodges and atmospheric medieval barns not to mention the plethora of bars, clubs, dives and speakeasys.

Rock the Pistes
When: 13th-19th March 2016
Where: Portes du Soleil, France and Switzerland
For those seeking something a little different than the normal the Rock the Pistes festival is well worth heading for. Making the most of the huge Portes du Soleil area events will change location on a daily basis with Champéry, Avoriaz, Morzine – Les Gets – 17th March, Châtel
and Morgins signed up it’s going to be huge.
The music has more of an international feel but previous years have had bigger acts such as The Klaxons and Babyshambles so you never know quite what to expect.
This year is also offering those going to Snowboxx free entry so it will be worth seeing how the combined festivals work together!

After 3 successive sellout years, Snowboxx Festival is back for year 4 and makes the move to the world renowned resort of Avoriaz.
Snowboxx Festival finds a new home in the heart of the Port du Soleil ski region -Avoriaz. The festival is creating something never seen before at winter festivals, its own ‘Snowboxx Village’ right in the heart of the town. The village will host a plethora of events, main stage performances, off-the-wall festival features & local food and drink stalls.
This year sees Snowboxx team up with Rock the Pistes which is also taking place between the 13th and 19th March. Sound Familiar? That’s because it’s exactly the same week as Snowboxx! Entry to all Rock the Pistes events are free to all Snowboxxers!
