Treble Cone 2012 / Treblecone
Introduction
Treble Cone is half an hour from the town of Wanaka and provides some incredible terrain, on and off piste in a major scenic place. Some would say that Treble Cone gets more than its fair share of dry southern snow as well as the resort boasting a vert un-matched in the rest of the country. With 40% advanced terrain, Treble is known as one of New Zealands more testing and challenging resorts that competent freeriders and freestylers should love and be able to go home with a few stories to tell after tackling some major steeps, long chutes and deep powder bowls on some gnarly black faces
