• Bus: Buses leave Nagano Station Higashi-Guchi (East Entrance) to Shiga Kogen daily from platforms 3 and 4. Costs JPY 1,900 per person and takes just over one hour
• Train: Take the Asama Shinkansen (Bullet train) from Tokyo Station to Nagano, takes 1hour and 50 minutes and then take the bus. You can also get a train to Yudanaka town and a bus to Shiga. Costs JPY 1,300 and a taxi 7,700
