Freeriders should check out the areas at Spinale, where you'll find some good powder spots and some nice tree sections to blast through lower down. Fortini also offers a testing time.
Freestylers like this place a lot and not just for the mega halfpipe (when an event is on) or the Ursus park located in the Groste area. For those who like their hits natural, there are plenty of snow walls and steep hits to get air from. Having said that though, the Ursus park is usually well maintained by the crew and features a few massive kickers as well as a beginners area with some smaller jumps, rollers, and rails.
The race run (normally set aside for ski races), is the place for competent riders who want to show skiers how a mountain should be tackled at speed and with only two edges.
Beginners will find Madonna is one of the best first-timers resorts around, with lots of well set out easy runs, allowing for easy access and quick progression to more difficult terrain.
