Freeriders will be pleased to find that Andalo is actually a good place to ride with a number of riding options on offer. There are lots of tight trees to shred as well as a number of scary drops and fast steeps.
Freestylers will also find Andalo a cool place. On occasions there is a halfpipe, but its not always maintained.
Local riders often construct their own hits and session them before moving on to try out some of the natural air terrain which is in abundance all over the mountain.
PISTES: Riders have lots of wide-open spots where it is possible to lay out some big turns on runs that are well-pisted on a daily basis.
Beginners can start out on the easy slopes around the village area before heading up the mountain, where they will find some excellent novice trails from the top station down to the mid-section.
The local ski school offer snowboard lessons and board hire is available in the village.
