Schliersee

Frequented by Munich’s high society kiddies as well as some cool riders, Schliersee is also home to the living snowboard legend Peter Bauer (you may still meet him riding here). What you get are two areas interconnected by a free shuttle bus: the Taubenstein is less crowded and is the place to be on a fresh powder day (you’ll get bored pretty quickly in the days in-between!) Most of the runs are intermediate and nothing will keep you excited for long.

At the parking lot, you jump on the shuttle that takes you to the Stumpfling-an-Sutten area at the other side of the Spitzingsee, where the whole area lies in front of you, just waiting to be ridden.
