The main area is the Mont d'Arbois, which covers the Mont Joly and Mont Joux sections, with some steep 33-degree blacks and has some great powder opportunities. If you take a bit of time though and ride the quieter Rochebrune area on the other side of the valley, by crossing the town on the cable car. You are more likely to find powder as far fewer people go over here. You can get really lucky and ride all day through the trees in powder, without seeing anyone. This area is also great in white out conditions and if you can't see here then get to the nearest bar.
Freestyle
3 main snowboard areas with pipe and boarder-cross, things are slowly getting better but the resort is still not putting much effort into welcoming boarders.
Pistes
There is also some fantastic carving terrain.
Beginners
The Megeve area also has great opportunities to learn those all-important liked turns, with nice nursery areas dotted around at the base of most areas. If there's not much snow here you can learn your turns by using the gondolas that are on offer in much of the resort, so you will not have to master the drags too early.
