SKI AREA The six-seater high-speed chairlift at AIGUILLE DU FRUIT will open this winter as planned. Its new blue piste gives skiers at Courchevel Moriond easy access to Courchevel. The six-seater high-speed chairlift at FORÊT is the very first bubble chairlift in Courchevel and the fastest in France. Departing from Courchevel Le Praz, it travels at six metres per second and can transport up to 2,400 skiers per hour. These two chairlifts are equipped with a Magnestick system, disabled skiing access and Birdmarks to ensure the protection and safety of local birds, particularly the black grouse. LODGINGS . Chalet Artémisia This ski-in, ski-out chalet is located in Courchevel Moriond in the Belvedère area, 50 metres from the Granges chairlift. Built by its owners on the family's plot of land in 1986, the Artémisia was one of the first chalets to be redone in this now very desirable area. The Artémisia, labelled Dream Mountain, is decorated in a mountain style, cosy and warm, and boasts a relaxation and well-being space with a steam room, a sauna and massage service. GASTRONOMY . Le Chabichou This winter the gastronomic restaurant will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its two stars in the Michelin Guide. Michel Rochedy is a French Master Chef and member of the "Grandes Tables du Monde" restaurant association. Stéphane Buron has been his associate and spiritual son for more than 20 years, and won the International Taittinger Award in 2002 and the Meilleur Ouvrier de France award in 2004. Together, they serve up fine cuisine combining tradition flavours and exotic inspiration. . Le Zinc des Neiges From 12 December onwards, Jean-Paul Lacombe – chef at Léon de Lyon – will be creating the menu at Le Zinc des Neiges. He will serve locally-inspired dishes alongside chef Frédéric Vardon. . Le Comptoir de l’Apogée The Comptoir de L’Apogée is teaming up with the “Kyubi, Arts Club” restaurant to devote part of its menu to the Japane
