Salla is located in the Artic Circle and gets buckets loads of snow as well as regular appearances from the Northern Lights. It's a small resort but you will ride uncrowded slopes all week and be able to find fresh powder between the lifts

Getting there

  • Bus: Crystal Ski run holidays started running holiday from the UK in 201415. Flying to Kussamo airport is the easiest way to get here with a 90 minute coach transfer time to the resort.
  • Train: Train comes from Helsinki to Kemijärvi and from Kemijärvi is a connection to Salla by bus 6 days per week.
  • Driving: You can drive to Salla via Kuusamo or Rovaniemi (Kemijärvi between Rovaniemi and Salla). Both have airports and car rental service.
  • Flying: Crystal Ski run holidays from the UK. Flying to Kuusamo airport is the easiest way to get here with a 90 minute transfer time to the resort.
