2014/15 During the last three years Ruka has added: The biggest and the most fun Snow Park in Finland (Rosa & Rudolf Snow Park in Vuosseli): There are three magic carpets at the lower section and the area has been designed for beginners, the magic carpet at the middle section is for more developed skiers and the Rosa & Rudolf platter lift takes skiers to the upper section. The Snow Park also has a sled slope and a lean-to shelter for warming up and grilling sausages. Easy Way Down; the route from the top of the fell via Kuru slope to Ruka village. The level of difficulty is green, which means it’s a very easy slope and thus is suitable for children and beginners. Ruka Battery park development: The park has four lines for different skilled riders. Rail line for jibbing, small line with small 2-4 meter jumps and easy rails, medium line with medium sized 6-10 meter jumps as well as big line with 10-20 meter jumps. We have on only 1 halfpipe. 2008/9:Mini snowpark: Wavy slope, mini moguls, mini pipe BatteryPark:New rails:10m rainbow, 3m mini rainbow, 4+6m Flat-down, 2+3m mini flat-down Rosa and Rudolf Route:Kids and families can access this adventure route. Come and meet the animal friends of Rosa the bear and Rudolf the reindeer. Kaltiolampi Children area:Brand new children area in Ruka Village contains beginner slope, magic-carpet and sled hill. • Bus: Buses from Helsinki can be taken via a change over at Kuusamo with a jouney time of around 14 hours.

• Driving: Drive to Helsinki via Kuusamo, its 800km Drive time is about 14 hours.
• Flying: Fly to Helsinki international then onto Local airport Kuusamo, 20 miles from resort. Shuttle bus from Kuusamo to resort always available and takes 30mins
