Freeriders should take the Summit chair to access the opposite ridge which offers steeper, groomed, intermediate runs and the most challenging off-piste through bowls and trees. Try Dynamite, Catch Basin and Glory Basin, and lay down one powder track next to another. Get up early to challenge Blast, a steep fall-line under the chair lift.
Freestyle
Freestylers need to roam over the whole area to find places to get air, as there is no permanent pipe or park. However, there is plenty of great natural freestyle terrain.
Pistes
Carvers wanting fast groomed terrain will enjoy Whitewater?s trails which offer every level of hard booter something to tackle.
Beginners
Beginners will find that Whitewater is the kind of area that doesn't really have beginners - just learners who progress in powder by riding steeper and deeper lines. A new beginner park called The Hunter has been created near the day lodge. however, most people who have mastered the basics choose to head for the hills and carve up snow where groomers never reach.
