Mt Norquay

Mount Norquay is the nearest boarding area to Banff and offers some great riding. This includes good night riding and flexible ticket options, such as hourly rates and a terrain park ticket. With only five lifts, Norquay is the smallest resort in the area but is not without a heap of varied terrain to ride -  in fact, it has some of the steepest in the area, and it's only 10 mins from Banff by bus.

Locals claim the terrain either side of the North American chair is superb after a heavy dump. Norquay often has the quietest slopes for miles around, as people always pass this great little resort by head as they head straight to the crowded slopes of Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. That's fine with us.

Norquay’s night riding is on Fridays 5pm till 11pm, a night ride ticket costs CA$24.
