There’s scope here for the advanced rider to let rip. There’s loads of trees to shred through, but don’t get carried away or it could be a long walk or a hitch back to the lifts. The back side of the mountain has many long truly off piste descents, so watch out as this area’s not monitored and its south facing. Without the proper back country kit and knowledge the back face should be left alone.
Freestyle
There’s a great little natural half pipe off the side of piste 118a which is great as the run leads down to the chair for the park. The park is quite well looked after has a few rails, some well spaced kickers and an ok pipe. There’s scope for the natural freestyler which is more than can be said for the other resorts of the Ski Welt.
Pistes
Being at almost 1900m the snow fall here’s normally good, so the high pistes are well groomed and good for the people who don’t like to leaver the groomed stuff. There’s a long red from the top all the way to the bottom bubble but as you descend it gets icier and more dependent on the fake stuff.
Beginners
It’s fine for beginners who’ve mastered the very basics, but if it’s your first time on snow you’d be better off in nearby Soll.
