2012/13: Tyrol's new highlight. In October 2012, the Pitztal glacier will open the new Wildspitzbahn cable car an the Café 3.440. Replacing old T bone lift in the Rifflsee area with a new 6 pers. Chair lift, which will have very special seats for children. In the glacier area we start with a new Snow Maker System Replacing old T bone lift in the Rifflsee area with a new 6 pers. • Bus: Daily bus services from Innsbruck and Imst. Free Skibus runs from Wiese (near the A12 junction) to Pitztal and takes 40mins
• Train: nearest station is 38 km away in Imst, which have frequent runs from Innsbruck and to Pitzal.
• Driving: From Munich go either via Garmisch and the Fernpass route and Imst or via take the autobahn towards Salzburg then take the A12 via Kufstein, Innsbruck and Imst
• Flying: Innsbruck is 85 km, 1hr 30 min. Salzburg a good 230km away.
