Pass (Low/High Season) :
Nauders sits just inside Austria, on a hill at 1300 metres in the Reschen Pass which is on the edge of the Swiss and Italian Borders. It is a quaint typical Austrian village with narrow streets, lovely buildings and picturesque churches and is geared more towards family holidays rather than the party scene. This means there are more piste lovers and so the off piste powder is available for longer.
Nauders used to be popular with British package tours, but has since lost favour, so the majority of visitors are from Germany with a healthy amount of Dutch thrown in.
The Reschen Pass Skiparadies lift pass covers three small resorts, each in one country which means you can board in 3 countries in 3 days! The 3 areas are Bergkastel Nauders (Austria), Haider Alm / St Valentino (Italy) and Schöneben Belpiano (Switzerland) which provide 111km of pistes with 25 lifts. They are all linked by a regular bus service, although you will have to change in Bergkastel for the latter two.
