Freeriders in softs looking for interesting terrain should check out the Innere Kopsalpe area. The Skiroute 1 Ballunspitze and around that area is good fun on a powder day with top to bottom runs off-piste separated by 2 fast chairs. The terrain is nice and steep in places and there's a full drops and gulleys in the area near the top of the Ballunspitzbahn. The terrain won't test advanced riders too much, but should keep intermediates happy for a good few days.
The park over at the Klein-Zeinislift has never really off, but it is served by a fast t-bar, so lapping is nice and easy. They usually lay out a decent number of easy rails, and a few kickers, but don't expect the features to be particularly large or shaped daily. Away from the park you'll find numerous small drops and terrain to pull some moves on. Serious airheads should head to Ischgl which is a 20 minute bus journey.
Piste lovers will find this a good place, but not exhausting. The well-pisted runs allow those who want to crank over some turns to progress with ease, and the red and black runs on the Saggrat should give you a rush.
Beginners are the one group of riders who will really like Galtur. The flats are easy to reach from the village and riders should have no real problems, unless they are scared of using the drag lifts that serve many of the runs (including the easy ones). Still, as the lift lines are non-existent and quiet, you'll be able to keep trying without too much hassle from irate skiers. The local ski-school, which caters mainly for beginners, will help you out.
