Perisher is in the Kosciusko National park in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. The resort is made up of a number of areas including, Blue Cow, Guthega and Smiggins. The resorts amalgamated a few years ago giving us a total of 1250 hectares of rideable terrain and the longest run being 3km.
The resort has everything for snowboarders of all abilities: There is a total of 7 fun-parks, a great Rider X track and a couple of Half Pipe’s (snow depending). One of the parks is full to the brim with rails, pipes and boxes. The resort also have regular event’s like “meet the pro” which happens most Sundays. The mountain itself has a good range of terrain which will keep you entertained for many days.
The Resort also has night riding with fireworks takes place on the Front Valley's Village 8 Express (fun park included). This takes place every Tuesday and Saturday night’s (6 to 9pm).
Prices for lift passes change throughout the season and have heaps of offers, such as Buy Early and Save, 5 For 4. A big stand out is the Epic Australia pass. A season pass which includes Whistler & 12+ USA resorts all for as little as $779.
