Arinsal Boardercross / www.palarinsal.com
Pal and Arinsal are two villages linked via the Teleferic Arinsal-Pal Gondola. Nearby village La Massana is now also linked to the area via gondola.
Pal is a slightly bigger and better resort than that of its near neighbour Arinsal, it has more interesting terrain than Arinsal and is not quite as rowdy both on and off the slopes. The area is, however, a place for total novices and slow learning intermediates with 90% of the terrain graded blue and red.
There’s absolutely nothing of note for advanced riders, no matter your style of riding. Only 10% of marked-out trails are black, and even some of these are over-rated, especially if you can ride at a competent level. Most riders will have the whole joint licked in the time it takes to smoke a good joint.
